I would check with people who do leaded glass windows.

If they are all new from a store I guess about $150 or so. But they are used and not full so I you can guess. But I do think they are worth some money to those who need them.

I think the going rate for solder is roughly $25 a pound.

Give them to a plumber... if they can use it. Probably 50/50 solder instead, 95/5.

Plumbing now in days - you can't use lead. Antiques of days gone by.

How old are they? If you have no soldering to do, you might be able to give it to a friend. In all likelihood, it may be best to throw them away. I don’t they will be worth more than a buck or two for the whole lot.

This is electronic grade rosin core solder. Brand name is most probably 'Kester'.
The large diameter stuff is not in that much demand. The paste is is more common.
Being an old radio tech, I would be interested if your price is reasonable.

A plumber only uses acid core solder.

Shipping costs may be a deal breaker.

Re: shipping - Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes are frequently the cheapest way to ship lead. The boxes are free, and you can print mailing labels on your own computer using the USPS web site. Pure lead is not a problem. Some of the companies that sell bullets for reloading ammunition use it - one even has its "case" quantity set at the number of bullets that is just under 70#, the maximum Flat Rate weight. But check on whether the paste and/or rosin core are a problem.

Have you checked the price of rosin-cored solder? It is extremely expensive. Old does not apply to solder it is okay forever. Ask an Amature radio operator, I am sure they would gladly pay something for this

Cast bullet shooters love solder, they use it to alloy with soft lead to make it harder.

This has some value but you need to say what is composition is. You should find this information in the spool ends. Also measure the diameter if it is not given on the spool end. This looks to be rather thick thus it is not suitable for small electronics. Is it Rosin core? What information is on the flux container tops?
