Never judge a camera by its looks.
It may make them feel inferior.

Actually I always do especially nowaday in a lot of cases you can't touch the camera you're going to buy only look at the pictures.

Life is like photography, if you leave your Canon at home, you're not a photographer.

Neither does one-button exposure bracketing. After all these years.

Look for a camera that will enable exposure bracketing and burst mode with the press of a button, and you will be happy.

Improvement begins with I - as in: I will buy a Canon mirrorless camera today.

It may not matter what the major differences are. It would be better if you could buy/rent/borrow two different cameras YOU are interested in. Borrow or rent them for a couple of weeks.

If there was only one best camera there would only be one in the marketplace.

Good Luck!

It is sad, given the market has spoken loudly and clearly for more than 20 years. Why are we even discussing the global #3 trailer, relative to the #1 leader, larger than the next two combined?

Interesting thing, we each have our own preferences.
Unless a good marketing program or a relished person can sway some.
And then there are some who will take years to decide what they like.

OK let me educate you. Don't ever ask such a question unless you are just trolling.

Notice that he ridiculously asked specifically about "Major Differences" when anyone with half a brain knows the only possible question would be about "Subtle Minor Differences".

The MAJOR difference, that Paul pointed out, is that the lens mounts latch in the opposite direction to each other. For MAJOR, thaz all.

Seems to me that the camera is a tool, nothing more, nothing less; and in the hands of a skilled (or lucky) photographer it is capable of producing a fine image. As has been frequently said: "The best camera is the one you have with you!" In my mind, it is the photographer behind the lens, not the camera in front of the photographer. Poor Ansel Adams had to hand-carry his huge 8 x 10 camera up mountains, and he did a pretty good job of producing world-class images. This argument to me makes as much sense are arguing about hammers sold by Lowe's or Home Depot!

Sheeeesh! I just spent the better part of a week researching hammers, making A-B comparisons, learning the composition of the metals used in each and now I learn it doesn't matter?
