The last five pics are among my favorites. The '53 Skylark is one of my all-time faves. That was the beginning of the rear rounded open wheel well. As much as I like chrome that '58 Limited fits neatly into my wheelhouse. And I like the '60 much better than the '59 because of the less pointed tail fins. These are three of the prettiest Buicks in my book! Nice captures.
Some fine old classics jmt.
Don
‘60 Buick Le Sabre is my weakness. My dad had one and I would swear that if you put your foot on the throttle the fuel gauge would visibly move left as the speedometer moved to the right 😎. Still one of the prettiest works of automotive sculpture IMHO. Thanks for the posts.
Thanks for the feedback everyone!
I've still got some good stuff to add.
Hope to get time this weekend to show you the rest of the story.
A special thanks for sharing your great photos. We have a picture of an old auto with family that was taken in Detroit in the early 1900s. We tried to identify the auto, but had no success.
And there it is; your first image.
Thank you.
Harley Earl is looking down and smiling. Nice work,
