Long shot question concerning a Samsung Galaxy tab 9 ultra, Lightroom and .CR3 files

I can’t find what I’m looking for anywhere and Samsung can’t/wont help. I’m an Apple guy but love the new Tab 9 Ultra for the big, beautiful screen. I have read that the Ultra doesn’t like the Canon .CR3 files but I can’t find anyone to confirm this. I just need to know if I can open LR and import my RAW files. I’m desperately needing a new tablet and with my $320 discount I’d really like to try the Samsung tablet. I edit hundreds and sometimes 1000’s of photos at a time and need something that works good. Thanks guys!

The latest Adobe softwares support "CR3" files, in the general sense. But, every RAW file is unique from every camera. The file extensions are just a generalization for each brand of camera. So, the CR3 of an EOS R3 is distinct and different from the CR3 file from an EOS R10. Adobe has to update their software to process each of these CR3 files from each distinct camera model. You can review the Adobe.com site and find the minimum LR / PS software needed for each unique camera model. Then, confirm that software version operates on your target mobile device.

The latest Adobe softwares support "CR3"... (show quote)

Had no idea about the different .CR3 files for each camera, I’m running the R6ii currently and LR on my IPad has no issue but I have seen a YouTube video showing a guy having to do a work around to get his cr3 files into LR. He had the Galaxy Tab 8 Ultra which is a year older than today’s model. I hate returning stuff but I may just order it and if I have issues then back it can go.

It only costs 'time' to find and read the Adobe published software support for each camera RAW. Utube is just a snapshot in time, as in specifically when the video was captured, edited and posted. Adobe site's will always be more accurate and up-to-date.

I’ll go look and see if I can find anything, did a call and chat both with Samsung but they are clueless.

That would be like calling Canon and asking them about your Nikon lens on a Sony body ... Try Adobe.com, you want page https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html , scroll down to the Canon models.
