Grand series, Mike. Love the breadth, depth and light in these images. The expansive nature of the West is a stark difference from my neck of the woods, and the most endearing factor of the trips we've made out that way.
We are back off the road and I am attempting to catch up on posting.
Our second day in the Yellowstone trip, I got up early and went in the west entrance to get photos of the sunrise along the Madison River.
Comments and suggestions are welcome.
The light. The texture. The composition. Everything about these photos is perfect, Mike. And the fact that you got up early and went out of your way to take them makes them all the more precious.
This is the golden hour light that you hope to capture when you are out before dawn. Beautifully done, Mike. Especially love the penultimate image, “Wow”.
