My wife and I saw the Eric Gales Band at the Empire Theatre in San Antonio last week. He's quite the guitar player and is an interesting guy. He plays the guitar left-handed, but he's not left-handed. His brother is, and his brother taught him to play guitar. Notice also that he basically just flips the guitar over; the bass strings are on the bottom, and the treble strings on the top. They put on a great show.
All photos taken with my Panasonic Lumix DC-ZS80 at ISO-5000. This is a nice little camera that has been allowed at all the shows I've attended.

Eric's wife, LaDonna, plays percussion in the band and their dog "Crown" sat with her through most of the show. 41mm, f/5.6, 1/50

Cool set. Well done! Interesting info.
Great photos and interesting story. What genre music do they play?

They play blues / blues-rock. His most recent album was nominated for a Grammy award in the Best Contemporary Blues Album category.
Here's a 'duel' with Joe Bonamassa...

By the way, the 'referee' in the ring for the duel was Keb' Mo'. He has 4 Grammy awards for Best Contemporary Blues Album (1996, 1998, 2004, 2017), and 1 Grammy for Best Americana Album (2020).
Wow, and he doesn't reverse the strings. Literally plays the guitar upside down.
Great series and lighting. Marvelous.

Nice photos! If you think about it, having the lowest notes at the bottom of the neck and highest note on the top of the neck makes more sense than the other way around.
