I am a big fan of the Topaz products, especially the ones mentioned here concerning Sharpen, DeNoise and Photo AI. I use Photoshop and use the Topaz Plug-ins,
I use photo AI on EVERYTHING before it comes out to this site or Flickr.
I also believe that the individual moduals work better, but mostly PAI works well and is a huge time saver.
While I do find some disortions if a lot of correction is needed, for the most part it works well. I have saved some photos, but not all.
I was 'gifted' Photo AI by Topaz when it first came out because I was a licensed owner of Sharpen and DeNoise.
For the past two years, I've done my updates around Black Monday where they run a special. it was usually $100, but for a special was $75. Not sure what it will be this year.
I will pay the ransom.

That’s interesting because one hogger mentioned to wait 1-2 months. That’s prob what he was referring to.

There are also plenty of discount coupons floating around. As much as I like Topaz stuff, never pay full price!

Topaz have quite clearly stated that their product is now Photo AI and that they have dropped support on all other programmes. That doesn’t stop you using them of course but they will never be updated. Time to accept that AI is the future for these things. I have found their latest AI to be quite staggeringly good, and Enhance (enlarge) is just unbelievable. I still use their art effects programmes from the days before Studio, they are fun but will never advance.

Topaz Photo AI has a 30-day free trial period.
See if it meets your specific needs. Topaz has not recently updated either DeNoise AI, nor Sharpen AI. It has however released weekly updates for Photo AI (which I own) but I agree, Sharpen AI (Motion blurness specially) meets my needs. It has alot of bells and whistles, but I don't need them.

I have Topaz and I use it all the time. The Denoise is great and the sharpen is a godsend.
It won't fix badly taken photos, nothing will. But they work like a charm.
I updated to Photo AI but I find that I use the single programs the most.

That’s the dilemma. I’m very happy with DeNoise also. But it appears that their efforts are going to be in photo AI going forward. I’ll try photo AI and see what happens.

I’ve had Topaz Photo AI for just a couple months, after it came out on top when I compared it to DxO and Photoshop’s new AI features. I also migrated from a 2017 MacBook Pro with Intel CPU and GPU to the newest M3 Pro which has integrated GPU cores and Apple Neural Engines. What used to take Topaz 10 minutes now takes 15 to 30 seconds, because it runs in hardware instead of software.

Upscale takes 1/12 the time.
Denoise takes 1/25 the time.
Sharpen takes 1/33 the time.
