About the only real portion of the image is the lighthouse which is located on the Pacific Coast. AI had its way with making some minor changes to the way the lighthouse looks. The original image had a nice spit of land that had been removed before the AI was used.
It is an impressive image. I'd like to see the pre-AI image.
Nice! Reminds me of a oil painting my grandmother had on her mantel.

It’s a very nice image, and nice work, but it has an unreal or surreal quality about it that makes me struggle to think of it as a photograph.
Perhaps that’s just my personal bias, what do others think?
I agree, and I also feel the same way about some of my own PPed images.

This is the result of wanting a "painterly" looking image.

Absolutely wonderful image. Will you tell what AI generator and what syntax you used?
Beautifully done, super creative.

Remember when we found kind of awkward having AUTO modes in a camera? Remember when it took some time to accept exposure meters built-in? I have no experience with AI but a majority of the images I have seen where AI was used were to my liking.
This one is also a beautiful image that has been enhances with the use of AI. It looks artistic to me and we all have some of that inside us. I can understand that we are all different and we have different tastes so there will always be a discussion on which one is better or more "realistic" the original or the one that had the AI treatment.
Look at Congress, about 300 people there trying to get their act together which many times fail.
Must ALL images be a "photograph"? Only what the camera sees?
Editing a photo "manually" (by a a person) in an editor is fine,
but "automatically" by AI is not?
AI is simply another (albeit new) method (tool) of editing.
"But.... but.... it must be a photograph."
Still is, just edited by a different method.
"But.... but.... but...."
