Admin has added an option to display the digest by section. Click on “Filter by Section” if you prefer reading one section at a time.

If you have set your UHH bookmark to open to the digest, change it.
You can open to the UHH home page.
You can open to the digest filtered by whatever section you want.

I don't use the digest so I was unfamiliar with the way it works. I saw a link at the bottom of the page for the latest digest and assumed that could be used as a bookmark to go directly to the digest. It appears that it doesn't work that way. The link to the latest digest is a link to the LATEST digest, i.e. the last one sent out. I found a help page for the digest https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/help/digest.jsp (recommended reading).

It appears that the digest is delivered by email. Each day the digest is generated a digest number is assigned and that specific digest can be viewed by changing the number that you get in the URL when you click on the link at the bottom of the page. So saving the link from the bottom of the page as a bookmark will just give you THAT digest, not the current one.

So since I am not subscribed to the digest, I have no examples of the email to show. But if I click on the link to get the latest digest I get something like this from https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/digest-issue?digestnum=3541:

Note that 'Filter by Section' is fairly prominent at the top of the list of topics. When you click on that you get a list of sections you are subscribed to that are included in the digest for that day.

And when I click on 'main photography discussion' I get the digest for that section and also a link to clear the section filter

Several people have suggested this but I don't see "Filter by Section" anywhere at the top or bottom of the page. How do I find it?

I complained a bit when this new format hit. Now when I get into the site, I click on Filter by section > > which is right under the title Ugly Hedgehog forum digest. I then go to the sections that I went to before. It requires a couple more clicks but at least I can once again enjoy the forum. Hopefully this helps and makes sense.
