I think Control-C is one of the best features of any OS. However, I sometimes have a problem with it, usually when copying something online. Unless I press the C slowly, it doesn't take - sometimes. It's the "sometimes" that's annoying. I might try to save text in the morning, and when I press Ctrl-V, I get what was saved in memory the day before. I just tried it, giving the C a very quick tap in both word processor and on this screen. It worked fine in both cases. Other times, I have to go back and do a slow press on C.
Both the letter C and the CTRL key work fine, so it's got to be something more technical than a bad keyboard.
Odd, that has happened to me occasionally also....
I just thought I didn't hit CTL-C like I thought I did.
A hiccup in the browser maybe? I use Firefox.
Some Websites block the control-c and all copy functions. If I’m trying to copy a large amount I print it to pdf and copy from there.

I use it frequently on a daily basis. I use MB Free Clipboard. It never fails to copy or paste using CTRL C or CTRL V.

I hold down the CTRL key and then tap the C a few times whenever I copy something. Works correctly almost 100% of the time.
I use WINDOWS LOGO+SHIFT+S and then select what I want to copy. Since I use the 'Windows History', what I copy also goes there.

Right. When it fails to work, I go back and tap it a few times - or I hold the C for a few seconds.
