My grandfather (on my dad's side, from England) was a painter at the old Thomas-Morse factory where they built the WWI trainers. It was once one of the biggest manufacturer of planes early in the war. There used to be a mural on the front or inside of the museum showing the picture my dad has of him and dozens of others in front of an open hangar and 'Tommy'. I'll probably be coming up to Ithaca in early August for a family reunion.
