As you might know, Bill & I have had great times checking out waterfalls all over the North East for several years.
Waterfalls are fascinating, natural phenomena. WE would love to see what waterfalls you've encountered!

A portion of Niagara Falls shot through through a hotel window, many years ago; when I had lovely cheap camera

I think I may have posted this photo before, but it certainly features a waterfall. Babcock State Park in West Virginia. This is one of my most popular shots and it was shot many years ago on Velvia. You remember film back when you had to get it right in the camera? 😎

Beautiful photograph Rick!

2. In the mountains outside of Vancouver

Those are both quite impressive. Makes one want to visit.

Thanks for hosting, Judy....I'm sure this will be a popular topic. Same stream in two different spots...along the road to Castle in the Clouds in Moultonboro, NH Second frame looks like "Leopard" spotty sunshine.

Touring NH has a lot to offer! Very nice.

I don't have a lot of waterfall photos, but of those I do have, some of my favourites come from the gentle cascades of the Trowbridge Falls in Thunder Bay, Ontario. As you can see, the flow was much reduced from what it must be like in spate. I don't know if it is always like this in late summer (this was 2008), but I did hear that some construction works had interfered with the flow. Whatever, it was nice to be able to get close to these pretty cascades.

Very nicely captured. Those rock formations are quite interesting.

I do remember those days well, but I've never been able to capture a subject quite this spectacularly.
