I have been thinking about leaving this site.
I guess the op has left. No responses from him that I’ve seen

I apologize. I am sorry to invoke that topic. I am merely writing that we are a lively bunch of hedgehogs!
Absolutely no need to apologize. I am over-reacting to the folks that seem to think that some of Admin’s decisions infringe on their freedom of speech.
I agree with SRT, there is no need to apologize, we are guest in his house, and we are allowed to cuss and discuss our hobby for the enormous cost of NOTHING.
Maybe I shouldn't pull the my house, my rules card because Admin explained why the change was made and it was not unreasonable, but I have been there and done that and I get it.
45-ish years ago I owned and operated an Atari Bulletin Board Service. I'm sure that many of you remember these dinosaur dial up systems but this BBS was funded only by myself, and I was very proud of the fact that I was one of the first people to have a 2400 baud modem.
Alpha Centari was also, as far as I knew, the only Atari system in the San Francisco Bay Area to have a 10-meg hard drive on an 8-bit computer. I paid $849.00 for that loaf of bread sized paperweight and it literally took months to make it work because those little computers were never designed for "mass storage".
Changing the digest may be an initial inconvenience but it is hardly the end of the world.
