I am guessing you should go back to the old format, the tribe has spoken.

I am guessing most of "the tribe" haven't investigated and tried Admin's posts or those who have posted about how to accomplish the same thing without the digest.

I cannot see the 'Filter by Section' tab. I am an Apple user; does that have any significance?

I agree with all of the above. No logic to the change and it makes it much harder to find the posts that I'm interested in.

I am old, but so what? Do add my objections to the new format. Admin: Please go back.

Did you even read Admin's posts to see what his logic was?

On balance, I would side with the people that want to go back to the previous format. It seems as though the majority wish for this. Perhaps we can have a poll of users?

The silent majority have said nothing, silence meaning = agree with change. If you think otherwise, note there are 108,293 subscribers to the main section. 20 ish cranky oldsters are not a majority, not even with the 'new' math.

I have unsubscribed from the digests, because they are too disorganized to follow. They appear to be nothing more than a random list of recent posts. At least the old digests were organized by subject matter, so if I had no interest in bird photos today I could just page down.

I will probably continue to visit UHH from time to time to look at the areas I'm interested in, but without the daily digest reminder it will probably be far less frequently.

Seems to be a prime example of the old saw, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. The new "format" seems not to have a format. Just list everything in some undefined "order." Sorry for the quotation marks but as far as I'm concerned, the random listing is unusable. I'll check in for the next few days (as I have for the last many years), just to see if we've returned to what has worked so well. If not, regrets, but so long. Life's too short to have to slog through everything submitted to find what used to be presented so conveniently.

New format is not acceptable

But of those 108, 293 users how do they break down in terms of the number of posts; say <100; 100-499; 500-999; >1,000?
