If you haven't seen the movie "Duel," it's worth searching for and watching. It was a 1971 TV movie made by Steven Spielberg, starring Dennis Weaver (Chester on Gunsmoke) and a big, dirty Peterbilt.

A crew made a miniature version of the crash. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ZXSI2GT2u0

I've seen that one a long time ago. Not in 71 but perhaps sometimes around the 80's.

Known for interesting p.o.v. editing. Saw it in '71 and two or three times since

I wonder how good it would be if they remake the movies with Jerry in his Honda Fit and got chased by a jacked up Ford Raptor instead of a Peterbilt semi truck.
It would be a beautiful movies around the Catskills Mountain area.

I have seen the movie two or three times and still can't figure out why the car could not out run and/or out maneuver a Semi . Other than for the sake of the movie.

Have seen it several times. Great movie. Was neighbors with Dennis Weavers dad & Mom when I lived in Oklahoma.

Oh yeah! I imagine the plot...
Jerry was in need of his ice cream but the store near his house wanted high price and he figured if the drive to the big store which is far away he can save money even with the cost of extra gas....
