So what do you think about the new digest format?

Linda's right. At first, I was really dismayed to see everything in a jumble but as Linda suggested, I clicked on "Home" and there were my old topics in the same order as before. The miniscule difference is, the topics don't show the postings; I have to click on each topic to see them. I can live with that.

Yes but they are still mixed up.

I'm completely lost! The dates are all mixed up! Personally, I read the Digest every morning and keep up-to-date.
This morning is a frustrating mish-mash and, unhappily, a turn-off.
I'm so disappointed!

Same here.

I am not a fan. As Linda states, clicking on "home" does bring up the separate sections. But, that does not list the individual threads or topics. I personally prefer seeing the listing of the various topics and being able to pick and choose, by scrolling through them, which to read. I do not like having to click on each one to see the topics in just that section, then having to click on the next section to see which I want to read. For me it is easier and more efficient to scroll the entire listing and pick the threads I wish to read.

The new format has the newest topics interspersed with previous topics, making it more time consuming to pick which topic to read or review. More disorganization than facilitation in my mind.

I vote to go back to the previous format.

"While some people still do it this way, the majority of people now glance at the digest for a few minutes on their phone, click a few topics here and there, then turn off the screen and do something else. Until the next time throughout the day when they might open up the digest again and click on a few more topics. And so on. Browsing sessions are fragmented now."

Addendum to my previous comment: Not everyone looks at the forum on their phone. I have noted a very significant number of members admit to being senior citizens (I am one) and quite probably do not look at UHH on phones. Several reasons, the print is smaller on a phone so more difficult to see/read, a laptop or desk top computer has a better viewing screen size, more detail on a larger screen for review or evaluation of a photo, and probably several other reasons. For those wishing to view on a phone it may be easier for them to look at single topics at a time, but on computer monitors the old version would make more sense.

Maybe there should be the option of having a choice between the two, have a phone version and a computer version let each member choose their preference.

Strangely, it doesn’t appear that anything has changed here in New Zealand.
I must say up front, I don’t get the digest.
I have about 20 subjects that interest me.
There is a link to New Topics (that only includes subjects that I am interested in) at the top of each page. I have saved that link to my Firefox toolbar.
Each morning I just click on that link and when UHH appears on my screen I then click ‘Unread’.
Voila, all the New Subjects I might be interested in appear in date order and I have my own personalised Digest.
Meanwhile I get emails advising comments on all the subjects Ive got Watched.
Nothings changed.
I’m sure Admin has a good reason, probably commercial, for the changes. Why don’t all the complainers just sit back and be thankful for a very popular forum, with no fees, where the majority are just getting on with it.
Adapt to change. It’s come to a place near you.

I like it. Maybe the interest clicks will go up and we can get more people posting their photos.
