Change in Digest Layout

I worked with the new layout for the first time today and immediately didn't like it. It takes me longer to look at the title AND the category to decide whether to open the post. A while back bird photos were separated into a separate gallery. I liked that because those not interested in birds didn't have to look at them, and those interested in birds could go right to them. However, putting them back together again along with everything else just doesn't work for me. Thoughts from other Hoggers?

I am also having trouble with the new layout. yours is one of the few new (9/21) messages I've seen. Not sure where to look for other topics that usually show up in the main section.

I totslly agree & have sent an e-mail to admin. Suggest others who agree with these comments do the the same. If they really want to do what works just fine for the majority of viewers & contributors, maybe they will listen and return it to the previous format that so many of us are used to and enjoy.

I generally try to use something new for a period before I make any comments, but I, too, find the new layout very confusing. I know what the administrator said about the reason for the change, but I can only comment that I think the old layout was much superior.

Everyone who feels strongly about this should SEND A MESSAGE TO ADMIN. and let them know your thoughts. I, personally, would like to go back to the previous layout.

I agree, there should be categories, then each item should be listed by age. It is difficult to find specific topics.
The topics listed in the forum need to be subdived by subject, ie, Birds, Animals. Landscape, night pictures, etc.

And...once you have your desired list, you can click "home" (upper left corner) after you log in. It that area will be just the sections you're subscribed to. If you open a section, any new topics you haven't yet read will have a green tag beside it, with the word "new."
