You left out a key word. Is your transplant coordinator a nurse or a physician. If a nurse, I would suggest you refrain from giving anyone medical advice. A nurse is still a nurse, and not a physician. Their training is significantly different. Many of them, if not all of them, don't know what they don't know. A plumber's assistant is not a master plumber. Be careful where you get important medical advice.
My coordinator works closely in conjunction with my liver doc, so I trust her implicitly. She consults with my doc before giving advice, and I trust her a lot more than tv ads. Their job is to sell, and she and the doc's job is to keep me healthy.
