Ordered some parts from Nikon. Lens hood for the 200-500 lens & the memory card door rubber plus double stick tape for it. Any who, the rep at Nikon says DEC 2023 is the last call for service on the D810. Thought any D810 owners might want to know.

Yes, Nikon and others stop producing parts for camera's after so many years. That's why I update my camera's every couple of years.
Also, many repair shops keep cannibalized camera's parts. Mid West Camera Repair is just one of several places that do this. There are many good camera repair stores that can still help you out when the manufactures no longer stock parts.
Some camera companies, when they stop producing parts, still have an inventory of new parts and they will sell these off in bulk. So, you never know who has what when it comes to parts. So, if your D810 ever needs service after Nikon stops producing parts, someone somewhere may have them.
I believe the D810 became available in July 2014, prices starting around $3,300 but soon dropped to $2800.00.
So, it looks like Nikon produced parts for that camera for a little under 10 years.
I believe auto makers have to have parts available for their models for 10 years. But the aftermarket in auto's is much more prevalent than in camera's.
