Does anyone have a link to a download of the MicroSoft ICE tool? It was amazing at stitching images together and it was even free!
Someone no doubt probably still has the install file, I could open a spot in Dropbox if anyone would be willing to upload it there.

Try this link. I think i got it there for a new computer recently.
If it doesn't work for you, I'll look to see if I have the installer download I used so I can put it on One Drive for you.

A quick google for 'microsoft ice' will reward you with the ICE web site URL...

I haven't used it in a long time, but it used to be standalone...the last version before Microsoft pulled the program looks like it had to be used thru PS. My version, 2.0.3 works standalone

If no one offers it up, I'll send the 2.0.3 version to your Dropbox.

No. It's a standalone program.

Same version I have, 2.0.3.0.
Yes, last I used it (not sure what version then...) it was standalone.

Thanks Fred, I moved to an Imac in 2019 and just acquired a windows based pc again. I like it much better than stitching an image in PS. Having to run 2 computers is ok by me, ICE is worth the inconvenience. I may have a workable version from Tony North. I'll know when I try to install it.

A couple of weeks ago, I had researched ICE because I thought it would be useful. However, the only version available is the add-on to PS. This and other programs are n ow handled by Microsoft Research at:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/research/product/computational-photography-applications/

But ICE is no longer supported. --Richard

Microsoft Image Composite Editor 2.0.3 (64-bit)
https://www.downloadcrew.com/download/9789/microsoft_image_composite_editor_64-bit

Click on or load the above link.

I downloaded it and installed it - it's on my desktop and is functional as a standalone.

I've only done one that was semi-acceptable. I've downloaded this and will try it.

Here's an installer for ICE from 2019. Maybe this will help.
