Yesterday was quite soggy - a heavy drizzle and fog, BUT a visit from my nursing school "bestie" whom I'd not seen in years made the day bright and fun. She now lives in TN and had roots in VT so came up to vs a friend and they have been doing a road trip - the "wherever we feel like going, when we feel like going. They came this way so they got the Portland area tour - and I found some "s"s.

We had to go to the city today to visit the cardiologist. Afterwards, we came across two old cars in an Autozone parking lot. They were doing repairs - one of the cars needed a new pilot light! I talked to the drivers, and they were in town with about 25 other cars for a five-day rally. All SSSStanley SSSSteamers.
I hadn't taken my camera with me, so these are phone pics, but I'm pleased with them.

What a great start with wonderful pictures that really illustrate what the Challenge is all about. I love the first picture with her sweet, sweet smile and then the 2 boys, the dancing girls with the colorful skirts, and the sketch (neat).
And...after following everyone else's posts, I started to get some ideas of my own. Been busy, so starting late. These are all from Clearwater FL.
