You may not have caught any fish but you did catch some nice photos. Idaho is a beautiful state. I was born and raised in that state.
I was going to say pretty much the same thing. These are nice shots.

While driving into the mountains to fish and take whatever photos might come up I noticed this farmer in his fields yesterday. I turned around and went back to take photos of him and the geometrical patterns he was creating with his tractor. The sitting in place machine was on another rancher's property as I drove by and wanted a photograph of it too.
I caught no fish.

Thank you JD750 for the thumbs up. I love all of the Western States. Idaho just happened to be closest to where I came from that I wanted to move to.

That last photo took me back about 64 years to when I was in high school and ran a hay rake in front of a baler. The one I ran was lighter than your yellow one and was pulled by a smaller tractor, but it did the same job. Your beautiful main shots are of a more modern rake with huge adjustments but it does the same job. There was (and still is) just something about a property windrowed field that simply looked right. Prettier than a field of hay bales I always thought. You caught these shots perfectly.

Those were the first commercial rakes, I believe, and they were called dump rakes.
The old dump rakes were used when hay was put up loose. The next ones had a rotating 4-5 bar basket and puts the hay in a windrow as opposed to big ugly piles from the dump rake. Now most rakes use the big angled wheels that rotate when pulled along the ground. The latter two rakes are used with balers pull in the field.
