Had the opportunity this past week to see hummingbirds in the wild, they were oblivious to me, the real nectar must have been so good. The last 3 are of what I call a hummingbird moth,don't know if that is what it is, because of the upper wing shape and the rapidity of the wing movement, which of course can't be shown easily with stills.

Congratulations on some great photographs. Well done. I don't know if the last few are a hummingbird moth or not. It does not look like the hummingbird moths I photograph in Eastern ID. Someone will know.

I love what looks like a Monarch caterpillar in the photo with the hummingbird. Nice.

No, NOT hummingbird moths. I think those are called butterflies!
