The structure of a Ferris wheel makes a marvelous subject for black and white and night-time shooting. It drew in immediately! I admired its geometry, and then chuckled when I realized what I thought was the moon is a street lamp 
Because a Ferris wheel is so commonly associated with fairs, the noise, colors and fun come through - even without color!

Beautiful Sue. I expected color and garish lights. B&W was a pleasant surprise.

This was taken the night after the full "blue" moon which was in the opposite direction. Chuck had me take a shot of it but since I didn't have a long lens all I got was a bright spot on the night sky which disappointed him immensely!
