Whenever I open a new mask in LR, I get this green tint on the subject. It shows up in the color box at the bottom of the box (see attachment). I can go in manually and choose "white" from the picker but that is a real pain to do each time.
I have no idea what I accidentally did to create this problem- but would love some help in correcting it.

Doesn't your "Color" setting say -17 on the Tint? Right there on what we might see in your screen capture you posted only as a thumbnail, rather than an attachment? If you zero-out these values, the temp and tint, doesn't that resolve? I believe if you double-click the words "Temp" and "Tint", the setting reverts to zero.

I don't have the same version, but my "mask" seems to default to something I did a long, long time ago. If you can figure out how to undo this default, please advise, as that might help many LR mask users.

I tried setting them to zero- it affects the color a little but the green color is still in the box on the lower right. That seems to be the culprit.

Thanks for your suggestion.
I have done that and it corrects it.
Unfortunately , I have to do it every time.
I can't find a "preference" or other setting to change that fixes it permanently.

Open a technical support chat with Adobe and ask how.

If you look in the second section where it says Preset: Custom then there is a slider below that and next is a check box that says Reset Sliders Automatically. Check that box and your problem should go away.
If the box is unchecked, when you open a new mask, it opens with the last settings you had from your previous mask.

When I have a unfavorable green tint on a monitor display, I just checked the monitor cables to make sure they are in place properly. This check cost ya nothing if you haven't fix the tint situation already....

That might be true if his images had a green tint, but it was only happening when he created a mask.
