That's a fine example of it. They were around in the USA years ago, but so small by American size standards. In England, I used to see them when I vacationed and they were just fine, really.
I love the bugeye Sprites! I had a 1961 Mini Cooper, which was powered by the same four-cylinder engine, just set sideways on a transaxle.
When Donald Healy design the Sprite his goal was to have one in everyone's bicycle shed.
Beautiful car nicely shot. Used to race one many years ago, H production if I remember right. That car and I became intimate friends with many hay bails on the downhill portion of Laguna Seca.

That is a lovely car. Back in England this was my first sports car after I passed my IAM* test (* IAM stands for Institute of Advanced Motorists). That was 58 years ago!
