Every day, I have a delay in getting out and doing things: changing from my PJs to my street clothes. Here it is almost 1:00 PM, and I'm still sitting at the computer in my pajamas. Retirement is nice.

Retirement has been good to me to. I used to go to bed at 9 or 9:30 get up at six and be ready to go to work at 7.
Now I go to bed at 1, maybe and get up at 10 unless I sleep in. Then right after breakfast it's nap time but sometimes the computer gets in the way, like today. Retirement is great. If I had known it was this good I would've forgone all those work years and gone right straight to retirement.

The best part of retirement is needing about 5 seconds when you wake up to determine what day of the week it is.

This is a good subject;
I like retirement because I get to decide what project I'm going to work on today.

Sometimes my wife decides.

I retired when I was 45...so I kept all of my habits.

Up no later than 6am...out on a long hour or two walk with the hounds and camera (weather permitting).

No jammies...ever. I sleep in the nude...always have.

One change...I nap whenever I feel like it...which can be nice.

I am much different. I can hardly wait to get out of any sleepwear and into street clothes Thus, I do not understand why anyone would want to keep their pajamas on. If the need comes up to go somewhere, you have to take the time to dress, but I am ready to go at a moment's notice.

Nope! In my 29th year of retirement, and I still don't care what day it is. Every day above ground is great.
