I need some ideas to store photos with the ability to send some to friends. In the past, I have stored photos on my computer transferred from the disc in the camera. If I wish to send to friends, I can only send two or three at a time because of the limitations of size of attachments on e-mail. My option is to store on a flash drive and mail it. There must be a better way. Can I store in a cloud somewhere that anyone could access .... or I could grant access. I have heard about this and I would like to know of some product names that are recommended. Thanks.
Google Photos, you can share via a direct link or the complete folder...
ditto Amazon Prime Photos (unlimited storage of jpegs if you have a Prime account...)
I use One Drive. (5GB free account)
I put the images there in a folder, get a link that can be sent to people for them to view.
I remove them after X amount of time has passed.

There are a great many options for doing that. Most have some limited amount of free storage before you have to pay. ImgBB, Dropbox, Adobe—if you have an account there—and many more. You can probably Google "Cloud Storage" and get lots of suggestions.
Drop Box is another alternative

I have a Synology Network Attached Storage (NAS) that provides a centralized location on my network to store data. Synology NAS goes beyond that, enabling you to build a private cloud to store, access, back up, and share files freely and securely over the internet.
I use transfer.pcloud.com . You can send numerous photos at one time.
I put any photos I want to share with friends and family on my website. Children and friends then look at them there and if they want a copy, they email me. Its quite popular with my rather extended family; children, grand children. I just send them a jpg file. The grand children in particular usually want a small file as I suspect they transfer it to their phone. Our (grown up) children also send me photos they've taken with their phones to go on the site, so we can also share those around after a family get together. We have family spread around New Zealand, also one who is married with children who lives in Bolivia, so it sort of brings us all together again.
That might work for you.
Why do you need to send such HUGE files to friends? Reduce the image to a size appropriate to view on a personal device.
My free Yahoo/AT&T email account limits me to 25mb of attachments. Lightroom Classic is what I use, but any software will do. It will export JPEGs with a file size limit. If I set it to 1000K, I get files slightly smaller than 1 mb. They are not what I would send to a printer but certainly adequate for computer, tablet of phone viewing. I don't know anybody that would want more than 25 pictures.
I use Google Photos. I put pictures into an album, click Share, save the link, and then send it to the appropriate people.
I use Drop Box. Works great. Very easy to use.
https://wetransfer.com/the best and 2 gigs free..... for each time you use it. "FREE" A NO BRAINER.
my friends and I use this all the time... even companies we work with. Perfect.
