You're welcome to post all of your 'Super Blue Moon' shots...

I am an amateur and don't know if these are any good or not! I'd welcome feedback and suggestions. All taken with Sony a7iii and Tamron 150-500mm on tripod with wire remote. From my patio in Salida, Colorado.
Note dates on photos: I think the best one is from Aug 2, an earlier super moon. One is from Aug 31 in the morning, as the moon was setting. I know the moon is blown out in 2 shots. I do minimal editing in Luminar 4 (no Lightroom). I don't focus stack or combine photos. I have not figured out masking yet. I had trouble focusing on Aug 31 at night. I think DSC1408(2) is too dark and over-processed with too much detail... Thanks for looking!

I like the morning shot of the moon setting behind the mountain. Maybe turn the highlights down a bit to bring out some lunar detail.

Ok. Thanks! The moon sure dropped quickly. I’ll play with the files some more.
Note that I've ordered an H-Alpha Emission 656nm Narrow Band Pass filter for future shots of the Moon. This filter is designed to only allow a narrow band of light to pass making any astronomic photo much better as it blocks the background light from the sun. In the case of shots of the Moon, it's supposed to enhance contrast, and in the case of photos of the Sun, it allows you to see through the photosphere giving you a view of the actual surface of the Sun and not just the corona.
Nikon D7200; 200-500mm f5.6 @ 500mm
ISO 400, 1/800, f10
Location: Simi Valley, CA
This one taken in West Los Angeles. Nikon 800D with 500mm PF and 1.4 extender. Original photo, not composite. I was distracted for a moment after taking shots of the Blue moon and barely noticed silhouette of plane crossing through frame. I saw another plane inbound, far away on same flight path and wondered what are chances it will cross moon at same spot as earlier plane? I figured no way given its distance and precise trajectory required. But I waited to see if it would come close and surprisingly it passed exactly where previous plane had crossed. I got three shots off, the middle one attached.

Great shot! You were ready! Right place, right time.
These shots' details are amazing! Please tell us the camera, lens, and post processing you used for this series. I don't think I've ever seen so much crater detail in moon shots. Your optics are really outstanding.

Shot at ISO 160, 1/320, F8, at 700mm (500mm pf telephoto w/1.4 extender). Color balance set at 4600k. I shot a few dozen shots experimenting with moon settings prior and I liked this WB setting. All I did was brighten the image slightly in post.

Sure. I know that we all like to know what settings were used. It helps us to make OUR photos better.
Forgot to mention - Shot raw with Nikon D800 and Nikkor 500mm.
