True. Good advice. I will hang a framed copy of the photo instead.

I guess to further make my point in response to my wife's teasing, I have attached something I believe I posted once before. I shot this in July as I watched this magnificent thunderstorm approach. I was anticipating a series of great photos, but then another set of clouds cut in front of it and everything bypassed us moving to the west. It was beautiful to watch, though.
When people ask me to photograph a wedding, I tell them I know nothing about proper lighting. Since I shoot mostly landscapes, I leave the light up to God.

O wow, and isn't it funny that those buildings just popped right up there, declaring; Don't leave us out

I was on my balcony, shooting to create this pano, when my wife started teasing me.
"How many times have you photographed those buildings?"
"I have never photographed those buildings. I photograph the skies. The buildings just happen to be there."
I probably have not heard the end of it.
This pano was just a few minutes before sunset (which is off to the right). There was cloud cover to the west, but the sun had reappeared beneath it and was lighting the bottom of clouds to the east.
I could not get the full pano to load, so this is a smaller version.

I was on my balcony, shooting to create this pano,... (
