Not pleased with the clarity of my Canon RF 100-400mm f/5.6-8 IS USM lens for the moon image. And yes, I had the right manual focus, 1/30 or 1/60, 400mm, on tripod, and timer set on the Canon R6. However, my game is go with what I have. The wooden Barn Owl statue was made with a chainsaw and given to me as a gift. The photo was totally taken with moonlight. The other pic of the moon and the owl was done with Photoshop editing.
Since it seems to have done an OK job capturing the owl in low light, my guess is atmospheric haze.
R.G., I will revisit the moon shot and work the haze filter in PhotoShop. Thanks.

Color correction is easy enuf. The very even tone of the empty space makes it easy to either cut some out and rejoin the halves, or you can easily fit some text in there for your bidnez card !

What ISO setting did you use?
Chuckwal, Thanks for your review.
rehess, For some reason I'm not seeing the response to your question. ISO varied from 1/30 to 1/60 in several different pics.

The reason is very simple - modern cameras can very good photos at ‘insanely high’ ISO values m, eliminating the need for tripods. These days, ISO value is as important - perhaps more so - than shutter speed and aperture.
rehess, Needed another cup of coffee in answer to your question correctly. I shot ISO 200 and ISO 100 in the various photos.
