Have the above lens for sale. Bought new, in excellent condition, relatively lightweight, good picture quality. Have front and back caps and third party hood (Vello) which is an excellent fit. Lens has a tripod mount and is stabilized. The lens retracts for carrying and extends for shooting. Because of its weight this lens makes a good long travel lens. I find that I use the Canon 100-500 mm long lens almost exclusively for birding so this lens isn't getting used much.

If anyone has the Canon RF 70-200 f4 lens in excellent condition maybe we could work out a trade plus cash on my end.

Used prices on Ebay vary from 479.00 to 549.00 and may or may not include the hood which does not ship with the lens. Asking 495.00. Sells for new for 799.00. This lens is like new, functions perfectly, have original box. This is not a fire sale.

One potential buyer said this is a speciality lens that photographers don't need. I disagree. This is a lens perfect for birds/wildlife in the distance and BIF in a very lightweight package.

I have the 800mm version f11
I would consider adding the 600mm to my collection but not for more than $425 it's just not worth it for the use it would get.
It's one of those novel lenses that have little resale value.

Thanks Thomas- appreciate your efforts. As long as I've been a member there has always been someone that seems to feel it necessary to negatively comment on prices. Whether it's intentional or not the end result is the same. In this case I decided to hang on to the lens for now and try another time. And actually I have been using it more with good results :)
