Some people shoot telephone poles and wires as subjects; some people avoid them at all costs. I be one of the first group. I know not why
#3 is a crop of a previously shared image.
Feedback and suggestions welcomed!
Nice shots but I think they get in the way of the subject most of the time. I try to avoid them..
Well, Linda, they do have leading lines.
How about shooting the setting sun gleaming on the wires. I always find that fascinating !
Black and white suits the subject and enhances the image I reckon Linda. You’re certainly the master of telephone wires! I would miss the shot due to trying to get the wires do a diagonal thing from one corner of the image. You’ve seen a composition I’d probably miss. TOL would see it your way without doubt - perhaps it’s a lady thing?

Thanks for your comments, tradio. If they are "in the way" of a subject, I probably wouldn't take the photo unless I could incorporate them as part of the composition

LOL. Ah, but where do those lines lead, Mike?

Thanks for your interest, Peter. I'm more likely to be out and about at sunrise, but I will look for that. Many thanks!

Thanks so much, Jack. I'll put together the processing info for you later this morning.
I believe the "pigeons" are Eurasian collared doves. They have invaded this valley in the past 5+ years, and I saw them
everywhere on that morning's shoot.

Glad you enjoyed, Dave. "A lady thing..." Hmm, let me ponder that for awhile
Off the top of my head, I know that MinnieV hates poles and wires and would never consider photographing as subject, let alone create diagonals or other geometric shapes.
Thanks very much for your interest and the smile!
