I am new to editing photo's,does anyone know of a software program that is easy to use? I have a basic Canon Camera
It comes with some what an editor in disc.
Try Picasa 3,it's a free download
Get Serif PhotoPlus X6.It is user friendly and not expensive
Canon supplies you with several software packages on the CD that comes with your camera.
You may also want to try Google's Picasa
picasa.google.com]
As a few other's have already mentioned - try picaca. It's free and you'll be amazed at what you can do with the program. Go to your internet search engine - picasa 3.5

[quote=dceker1967]My favorite is Photoshop Elements. About $100 and it has everything you need. Most photographers use some form of photoshop, so lots of help is near. Good luck. David in Florida.
David thanks for your reply .I have not looked for softeware yet but as I live in Australia software often has different names and price than America but I will look out for it.

Picasa3 is free and a very good program.
Download Picasa 3 yes it is free. Then try Picmonkey...also free with good options. Have fun!!!
PaintShopPro from Corel.com usually has great prices and can be downloaded. Usually the standard version is available for $60 or less -- watch for specials and it can be had for $40. The Ultimate version is often available for $60 or less.
But GIMP, GIMPshop, PhotoScape and the online PicMonkey, Tuxpi and Pixlr which are all FREE can pretty much accomplish all of the same things once you learn how to use them.
