In our local park, there's a domestic Muscovy male duck who I think should be called "Elvis". But he sure is one ugly duck but actually waddled up to me while I was there shooting some photos. The Muscovy ducks home range is the west coastal area of Florida and over from San Antonio TX down the eastern coast of Mexico. So having this one here in NW Montana, is pretty much a treat.

Muscovy ducks are not crossbreeds. They are a separate species of duck that is native to Mexico and Central and South America.

Great shots. Ugly, yes, but they make the sweetest pets. If you ever got used to them, they have beautiful personalities and you'd soon love them. They DO have pretty eyes.
