This is more of my fierce mama who was one of my favorite subjects! Taken around 9pm.
In this sequence she had caught a fish, which I missed, but somehow one of her cubs managed to grab it from her and she was not so pleased. Usually she would just give it to the cubs, but every now and then I think she wanted the fish and this was one of those times.
You will also notice one cub is way more aggressive and is bigger. The other better learn to fish or get more aggressive in order to survive!
In the 4th photo only her cub could not be worried about those teeth and the reaction from fierce mama!

All mothers have "that look" when junior breaks the rules. This mother could kill the little one. Don't they learn when momma is "hangry", you don't steal her food???

Excellent timing on mom's expressions!! Very nice photos of that bear family!!! Love the story that goes with the photos!!
