Making progress with Annabelle, our 1930 Model A Ford project. She is getting a new battery. It is a modern, sealed 12 volt battery made in the six-pack configuration that Ford used in 1930.
Nice! Keep us posted on the project please.

There is a Youtube channel called Merlin's Old School Garage that purchased a1930ish Model A and drove it from Indiana to Lake Havasu AZ (2500 miles) all on backroads. Even changed one of the connecting rods from underneath. He had someone build 2 rods and he replaced the one. Great trip even drove it to the top of Pikes peak.
You have a beauty. Good luck.
Post more images of Annabelle Cliff.
Don
Had a 1930 model A For door 6 windows as daily driver 1963-69, what memories did your A bring back! I was Med student and with my then girlfriend ( wife of many years now) bought a real wreck, fixed it some, took us everywhere, in Chile back then newer cars were taxed into absurdity.
Changed starter from pedal to push button using relay. In high heels she had trouble with starter pedal on floor.
Note louvered doors on hood, ours had just slats.
Wise move to upgrade to 12 v , specially if you use modern sealed beams.
Are you sticking to rod brakes or upgrading to hydraulics?
Fantastic project, congratulations.
Nice - and the Optima Redtop is a great battery.

It looks like you're doing an outstanding restoration. Would really love to see more.
It looks like you are doing a fantastic job of restoring a great car. Looks like you are bringing it back to original, or better than original. That's the way I like it!
