We have here a pair of images of the Stream Lady. Both have that odd fogginess around the edges. These images are right out of the scanner so the oddities are not the result of any kind of smoothing. Nevertheless I think these are pleasant photos.

I like the blurred edges. Sometimes it's gimmicky. This works.

When I look at these vintage models vs today's women with tats and piercings, take me back in time.

My first thought was, “What? Jim is posting a girl with a bra or bathing suit top?” Then I realized it’s just an untanned — or less tanned — breast. So, all good!

"Both have that odd fogginess around the edges." That is because you were photographing your imagination. It is a shame they no longer sell "paranormal-psychic" camera filters.

Were you going through the 'Vaseline' around the outside phase? It was common enough in the UK at the time, just smear some Vaseline (petroleum jelly) around the outside of a filter, and hey presto, instant mask...

Back in the day, didn't we used to put petroleum jelly on the edges of a filter to get an effect like that?
