This is a photo of granddaughter Jessie on her last day at home (Thursday) before leaving early yesterday morning to study for a year in France--won't get to see her for a year. She's my photography buddy that I shall miss tremendously. Not a great shot, done with my phone.

Pretty girl. Hope she does well in France.
Thanks. She's a junior at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, studying French and Business Communications. She will be doing her junior year in France studying the language. She's pretty good already, and should be much more proficient when she returns next summer.
Beautiful shot of a lovely young woman, John. All the best to her.
A great photo of a lovely young lady John.

Great shot to include your lovely granddaughter with the surprise lilies 🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈
Beautiful girl John. Good luck to her in France. I'm sure you'll miss her terribly.
Beautiful grand daughter John. Hope she has a wonderful experience in France. Think about a visit to France in the upcoming months!

Her experience in France, not just what she learns in her classes, but the whole thing, will be something that will enrich her entire life. However, I'm pretty sure that no matter how much she loves France, she will still be an Indiana girl.

Nice shot of a lovey young lady. Hope she does well in France.
I know how you feel. I used to see my grand daughter at least 3 times a week and most week ends. Then the family move to Sydney, 120 kilometres away. Now I.m lucky to see her 4-5 times a year.😥😥😥
