Well, they do represent a significant portion of the country, are you saying that their concerns should not be represented?

Seems that Feinstein thought so.... - "the conclusion one draws is that the dogma lives loudly within you" - Feinstein to Justice Barrett.

Significant possibly, majority no. They shouldn't be trying to impose their religious beliefs on others. By the way, Hillary and Carter were both Sunday school teachers. Biden is a practicing Catholic. There are many other religions. Are you prepared to offer them the right to impose their religious beliefs on the rest of us?

I wonder how the women in Iran feel about it?

Which religion should be in control of our melting pot nation?

What about separation of church and state?

just a reminder, I'm and atheist. The trend in this nation is a growing secular populace.

You atheists remind me of how you DemoKKKraps want to control the people of this country and the world.

I don't know.... seems that the below number comes from the 2020 census.

"Seven in ten Americans (70%) identify as Christian, including more than four in ten who identify as white Christian and more than one-quarter who identify as Christian of color. Nearly one in four Americans (23%) are religiously unaffiliated, and 5% identify with non-Christian religions."

Why not use their 2023 data?

Regardless, the numbers support what I previously stated, that a significant number of people in this country are religious. I do not want to see religion dominate our government but at the same time the concerns of folks who are religious, both on the left and the right, should not be discounted out of hand as simply out of bounds in our country's governance.

Yea, we were really submissive when we came down there and burnt down the White House.

Trudeau will be gone in the next election.

I'm an atheist, but I have no desire to control anyone's thoughts or beliefs. Idealistically, I'm a libertarian, but a practical conservative.

It's not oxymoronic to be moral and atheistic simultaneously. In fact, moral beings were in existence long before there were any practicing theological beliefs. Moral beliefs began when mankind evolved into live and let live societies, as well as sharing among members of the tribe. The prime directive was, "Don't steal the other guy's stuff."

It's been the bastardization of religion that's the bane of society.
