In need of suggestions for an inexpensive TTL flash for a Canon R6 camera

I am looking to buy an inexpensive TTL flash for a Canon T6 camera for my granddaughter. I have looked at the Neewer TT560 Manual Flash, however, it does not have TTL and it doesn't appear to have a head that will tilt to 180 degrees. I would like to keep the cost less than $100, if possible. Thanks!

I was mistaken about the camera, it is a T6, not an R6...........sorry!

Take a look at this one. It works great.

Bestbuy has a TTL Sunpak about $70.

Has tilt and swivel. When I bought mine a while back it even came with a case and a diffuser dome.

I prefer to stick with the Canon brand. Flashes, battery grips... I asked around what flash to purchase when I acquired my R6 and most folks told me to get a Canon 580 EX II and I did. Used (like new) from ebay for a little over $100. That was a few years ago. Still a great and lauded flash. That would be my suggestion. Google it. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

I think your choices under $100 are endless. I have enjoyed the Sunpak DF3600U for a number of years. It is designed with the Nikon and Canon in mind. Before TTL came about, I used other Sunpak flashes for years.
This one is currently $36.95 at B&H. You won't be disappointed.

Does that go for everything you buy? You've never purchased "preowned"? I've bought a lot of excellent used photographic items over the years. My 580 EX II has performed perfectly for 4 years. I can't agree with "go new, go Godox". Ken Rockwell doesn't mind used and he's a pretty reliable source.

All my 580's and 600's Canon flashes are no longer being supported by Canon. Had 2 of each. I'm frustrated with Canon right now and will no longer purchase their expensive speedlights. I opted to get 2 Yongnu Yn600's, for Canon EOS's, used, in excellent condition from Used Photo Pro. I am very pleased.

While I'm not against used because I have bought both new and used, I will say that I have been able to use and trust my Godox flashes and if you are choosing between new and used and the prices are about the same, why not buy new? The Godox are generally cheap in price, but perform as well as bigger name brands. I have two Godox and a Canon flash. I use the two Godox more frequently than the Canon flash.

Go Godox/Flashpoint (Flashpoint is Adorama's version of Godox flashes, same flashes). I had the Godox V350s for Sony and it fits a more compact camera well, and yet is full featured with TTL and built-in wireless trigger system.

The Godox TT350 version for Canon would be an excellent choice for a T6, not too big or heavy to unbalance the Canon T6 camera, but still full featured.

Cheers and best to you and your granddaughter.
