It is. It was a small ship sailing in the Aegean Sea. I was among a small group of photographers who got up early one day to photograph the sunrise. Thanks for your comments.

As for pics, I took so many that I soon came to the realization that I had enough. Sunrise and sunset can last a long time in Alaska in the spring and fall as the sun slides at a sharp angle above or toward the horizon. This was taken at Anchorage's winter carnival, Fur Rendezvous, in early March 1996. This scene is part of the snow sculpture competition.
