Like a couple others here, I have had shrimp and grits I loved and some I couldn't stand. Your look the way shrimp and grits should look. I had some that were soupy and floating in grease. Whew.

Jaymat, grits are not easy to cook. My are always very cheesy, always used 3/1, three parts of half &half and one part of grits. Low temp and covered and stir.

The best grits that I ever had was in Savannah, George a restaurant at the hilton hotel. Came back the next day for another plate.
