Before watching a movie on Netflix, I'll take a look at the preview to get an idea what it's about. I clicked on one the other day, and there was so much beeping-out of profanity, that I couldn't follow the conversation. If the preview is like that, the whole movie must be the same.

They never do. I was surprised to learn that a movie rated PG-13 can contain only one F-word, but the rest of profanity doesn't seem to have a limit.

I've often wondered while watching a good entertaining movie with no profanity from out of the blue the F word is used, why? There was absolutely no reason for it other than they may have wanted a higher a rating.

I can't understand that, either. It adds nothing to the plot. When that word appears in every sentence, I wonder why.
