More from the Grand Canyon.

P. 4 Beautiful picture. I always wondered how they had these trails so close to the edge and without fences. Not for those with fear of heights!

I found a few which qualify for the challenge. These are a few local trails nearby.

P. 5 Such wonderful pictures. Hard to come up with a favorite but I really do like the rocky ME coastline.

P. 5 Great pictures. I absolutely love the pictures where the trees frame the boat.

Katspangle, I don't mean to offend by using your "stage" name but want you to know to whom I am referring, thanks for these photos. For those of us living in a lush green of various places in the US, we need to be reminded that God has designed other natural venues, too. Are these all from near your home (within an hour or so)?

Again, thanks. --Richard

some are within a few hours, others are near enough for a weekend trip. Thanks for the comments

I just love these, but the two days of electrical outage does not sound good. Where was this storm? --Richard

We live in southeast Missouri a couple hours south of St. Louis. The good news was that our little retirement village is served by two separate circuits, so although most of us lost power, the church that is on the village property and a few other buildings had heat and lights. Most of us gathered there during the days. Power outages are fairly common here - don't usually last nearly so long, though. (At least in our experience - we've only lived here three years.) (I bought a generator. Figure that guarantees it will never happen again. :-D )
