Unless you’re paying for custom prints aspect ratio has everything wto do with it. Those systems will default to no white space, except for a normal white border if requested. Even though you can normally crop when you upload those systems will not let you crop so that either the width or that height doesn’t fill space, so that means if the aspect ratio is off the other dimension will be greater than the space and automatically cropped. When I was getting prints from Costco I would often have to add white canvas to one dimension to get the full image in the other dimension.
