Recently returned from a 2 week cruise around Svalbard. Only 3 land mammals, and saw them all. Lot's of ice, very lovely.

The polar bear had just spent 30+ minutes eating the baby walrus at its feet. It had dragged it behind the snow bank to hide for later. He was not hungry, just very satisfied and ready for a nap.

The animals are on ice floes out at sea. Parts of the land were green, parts covered in ice. It was summer in the Arctic.
