I think Google has a 15GB limit for anything related to Google - Gmail or Google Photos. I've been getting warnings that I'm at 14.2GB, and I might want to pay for more storage. I deleted almost everything from Photos, and I have only about forty emails in my Inbox. I have quite a few emails archived, and I'm going to delete many of them. I don't know where that 14GB figure is coming from, but Google says I won't be able to receive emails if I reach my limit.

Do you have a phone that uses (saves) to Google?

Yes~! For some reason, pictures I take with either phone wind up on Google, Amazon, or both. I've taken about two dozen cell phone pictures this year, and most of them were useless. I delete them right away.

I got my GB count down to 10, so I'm safe for a while. I'll post a lot of pictures for a group to see, but I don't have t leave them up forever. I just deleted most albums.

Yup.
I use One Drive. I put things up for a while, give people a link, remove them in maybe a month to keep total usage under the free limit.

I think Prime still offers unlimited storage of still images.

I don't do Prime......
We don't buy enough to warrant it.

I buy too much. Actually, it's easier and cheaper to sit here and shop, rather than spending an hour driving, going from store to store, and then waiting on line to pay.

We don't buy a lot to begin with...
I save up "needs" for necessary trips to various stores.
Like when I go to one store for coffee pods, I get other things on the list for that store as well.
Special trips are only for "must have now".

I don't buy a lot either, but I do a lot of streaming using Prime Video and that makes it worthwhile for me.

How about Google Drive? Some older phones put pictures in there too?

You probably need to empty the trash on your pictures and your email. When you delete pictures they aren't really deleted. They go into the trash. In other words Google doesn't want you to get rid of them completely so they save them hidden from you in the trashcan. In the Photos app on the phone you can go into Libraray and then to trash and empty it. Same on Gmail. You can find the trash and empty it there as well. They hide all that from you but then still let the trash use up your space.

When I go into town, I plot a route so I'm basically going in a straight line, in and out. Typically - Lowe's, gas, supermarket, bank, home.

However, when I shop on Amazon, I prefer not to get too many things in one order because that can get confusing with the billing. Although it's just one order, items could be sent and billed on different days, so I see charges that I don't recognize. It always works out in the end, though.

Yea, I've seen things split.
Different ship days, different drop-shippers.
They seem to not bill until the items ship, which is good.

Follow below, This will find any email with attachments which are 10 MB or larger. Then delete those items to free up space. Save anything you may want to keep prior to deleting. Also follow the info within the link.

In the Search bar, type “has:attachment larger:10M”

Thanks. That's clever.

I just did that, and there's nothing huge, but all the smaller files add up. What's odd is that it says I've used 14.14GB, but my Gmail pages says I've used 10.18 after I deleted 4GB from both email and Google Photos. I'll look over what's there and see what I can delete.

EDITED: Ah, Google Drive! I forgot about that. So there are three places eating my storage, Gmail, Photos, and Drive.
