The price is too low even for gray market. It must not be true.

Hello Folks,
I am looking at a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR With EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM Kit For $566.74, from NFNebraska. The description indicates that this is new.
So I have 2 questions
Has anyone heard of NFNabraska as a store? They seem to sell a lot of things.
Is there a way to tell if a camera or lens is for the USA market or the gray market?

Thanks for any input.
Dennis

If it sounds too good to be true...

Best to stick with the known sources, KEH, B&H, Adorama, and a few more.

I checked, NFNabraska is a total scam (Google the name). Not Grey Market, not Black Market, not Stolen Gear, they send you nothing, they charge your account. Free money for them nothing for you.

Beware Dennis.....

First, I am making the assumption when you list the name of "NFNebraska" ~~ that their company URL would actually be "NFNebraska.com"............ OH... Silly me...

So, I went to that website...... went to the bottom of their page, and clicked on "About Us"... It will take you to a page, which lists the company information at the bottom of the page which is...

Contact Us:
E-mail: service@abtdiscountshop.com
Phone: +1 614-556-4499
Location: 4159 Payne Rd, Pleasanton, CA 94588, USA

The above is a direct "copy and paste" from their page......

"BEWARE GOST-Rider"... When you "Google Map" the above address, it is a 'single story, personal residence'

Ha, Ha, Ha............ apparently this is a 'drop ship company' if... Legit at all

NOW..... Also, did a check of the website: www://trustpilot.com
....... The is no listing for this company on Trust Pilot

There is the old saying: "Beware of the Bride who is tooooo beautiful" and I think that fits here.

As for me..... I would make the personal decision to "move on" and "not buy"

IMHO ~~ only

Cheers

My mother used to say; “if it sounds too good to be true…it isn’t!”

Contact a used seller like KEH in Atlanta, they have a huge inventory of cameras and lenses that would meet your needs.

I am sure that it is not. No fabrication except the listing.

I am guessing that the home owners have no relationship with this company. Since it is clearly a scam operation, there is no way they would post an address where they could be located. The phone # is for 1635 County Rd #346, Gainesville, Texas which is located in the middle of hundreds of square miles of farms. They also have other similar websites under different names. Their success is geared to the greed of gullible people who believe they can get very expensive items for very little money. The expression 'a fool and his money are soon parted' comes to mind.

my first hint that this is a scam is they didn't correctly spell "Nebraska" . . .

Here's a tip you can apply throughout your life. If it's a really great deal ignore it and move on. If it's legit there will be more of the same.

He said both. The second was obviously a typo.
