My printer is connected to my wifi. I have a printer app on my phone (and all my devices). I can print directly from all those devices.

I have a Samsung phone. How do I get pictures from it to my computer to print pictures. Had a Canon Power Shot SX10 and it just just up and stopped working. Have a ZOOM Bowser program on computer that I would unload my pics. from my Canon into it. catskinner

Some older Samsung phones came with a USB Connector that you plugged into the power socket of the phone, then you plugged your USB power cord into it and then into the computer. I don't believe newer phones use this method anymore. And because I save everything try this link:

For my WINDOWS computer, I connect the phone to the computer with a USB cable.
The phone shows up as a "drive" in Explorer.
I copy the files on the phone to an appropriate folder on the hard drive.

Option 2 is to email them to yourself. (share) if it's just one or three.

Usually the USB cable that you use to connect to the charger can be used to connect to the computer.

That's the one!
As long as the cable has power AND data.

But we do have a ton of cables.....

Funny, but I tried to email some photos from my phone to myself, but they never arrived. I've done that before with no problem. No big deal, but I'll try again. Connecting the phone to the computer didn't do anything but charge it.

I ran into that same problem. I finally found that if I went into outgoing mail on my phone and clicked send they went immediately.

One option is to remove the sd card and use a card reader instead of using a cable to attach the phone to the computer.

That's one way I move photos from my Samsung Galaxy S20 to my laptop. I have also done it using a cable.

Newer phones don't have removable SD cards

I have a Samsung phone and can do it three ways.

First, I have the Lightroom mobile app on my phone. On my computer I have the Lightroom (cloudy) app and the Lightroom Classic app synced. When I take a picture with my phone, it shows up automagically in my computer.

Second, if you have Windows 11, there is a feature/app called "Phone Link". Once set up, the phone can be operated from my computer. That lets me "drag and drop" from the phones "My Files" app. This works for video clips where the Lightroom method does not.

Third, my newest Samsung does not have a memory card, so a wire between the phone and computer work too.

I tried to get Phone Link, but when I signed into my Microsoft account a message popped up informing me I wasn't authorized to access the Phone Link program. For Pete's sake, what does one have to do to be authorized?
